Thanks Cody for Standing Up for Our Flag

I do not believe there is anything wrong with displaying the American Flag in public. I do not find, nor think it should be found, offensive. And I find it odd and sad when people are asked to take the Flag down.
Did you hear about the boy who had the Flag on his bike, the one he used to ride to school everyday, because the school was getting complaints about it. The young man, Cody, was doing it to show his patriotism and honor the vets, including his grandfather.

Well, I bring this up, because I thought the public response to it was awesome.

Click here for the news story.

I like how they quite obviously showed how they felt but did it in a very peaceful way.

And of course, the schools decision has since been reversed.

P.S. Today I am thankful for my car. Despite it's hard experiences and many scratches, it performs it's task with great talent and preciseness.

  1. I heard this story and the first day it was on the news I talked to my mom and said, "Watch. Every veteran in the country will be sending letters to that school." I'm so glad I was right.
